Playstation 3

The PS3 wasnt my first console, but im putting it first because its cooler. i got my ps3 around 2nd grade, maybe 3rd.

  • Little Big Planet 2 - this was probably the game i played the most as a kid. It's definitely the game that provided me the most joy (out of my ps3 games), but nowadays i have alot of bittersweet feelings about it (the servers were taken down, i ended up losing a big chunk of my saved levels, etc...). god this one hurts. my old username was paulchan33 if anyone recognizes that one lol. (btw, i had the best fnaf costumes out of ANYONE and nobody even knew. mine were realistic as FUCK)
  • Dragons Dogma (original and Dark Arisen) - one of my alltime favorite games. I havent beaten it yet, but when i was younger i did get to the fight against the dragon. unfortunately, i rushed into it, so i was under-leveled and un-prepared. i ended up having to restart, but ive still had plenty of fun with the game! i ended up getting dark arisen a couple years after getting the original, and just started a new game on that anyways. the eternal ferrystone is TOTALLY worth it. i havent gotten very far into the bitterblack isle (i also havent even entered it since i was a little kid), but its whatever cuz i still have fun! im really excited for dragons dogma 2!
UPDATE!! i beat grigori! and the bitterblack isle! i played it for a couple weeks straight, switched to magic archer, and ended up DESTROYING everybody lol. turns out i was hella overleveled, i was just a bad sorcerer lol. i beat grigori in like 2 minutes once i was actually able to fight him because i cheesed it and went straight for his heart. a bit underwhelming but thats totally on me lmao. bitterblack isle was alot more fun as a yellow vocation, i still havent killed Death because hes a real pain in the ass no matter who you are, and he likes to kill my pawns so hes very frustrating. ive gotten all the wakestones in need from the everfall, but i havent advanced the story yet. im not sure when the right time to end it is.... im gonna miss my little guys alot! i might do new game plus but im still thinking about it yknow? itll be soooooo easy but i guess it would be fun now that i know how all the mechanics work yknow? and plus, i could actually romance reynard right and not get some random character as my beloved. i was really mad about that lol. i didnt get my babygirl reynard if you couldnt tell. anyways, yeah, best game ever, 10/10, dragons dogma 2 is gonna be badass, yeah. swag.
  • GTA IV - this ones my first gta game! i havent played it much since i was MUCH younger, so i dont have much to say on it. had hella fun on this one though! though i do remember that one time i lost my save outta nowhere and had to restrt, that was goofy. i never did manage to get inside the statue of happiness to see the heart or whatever, i tried to for a WHILE but my 4th grade ass could not read lol.
  • GTA IV: Liberty City Stories - i think i was able to beat both the ballad of gay tony and the other one when i was a kid, they were hella fun. i mainly played the ballad of gay tony because i liked the club dancing minigame for... reasons. the most fun thing to do though was to climb ontop of a skyscraper and kill as many people as you could until the cops got you! just spam all the cheat codes and go to TOWN on those hoes. i remember one time me and my cousin were playing, and there was a glitch where the bazooka couldnt kill any of the fat npcs's lmao. we kept shooting rockets at them and they would just stand right back up and start running away lol. we had alot of fun with that one.
  • Little Big Planet 3 - i got little big planet 3 the day it came out because i wanted to get the sackboy plushie that came with it. unfortunately, it only came with the PS4 version of the game, so i didnt get it. still convinced my dad to get it for me though lol. the online mode was sooooooo buggy and it took forever for it to start working. i had hella fun with the story mode in the meantime though! and the whole addition of what was it - 16 layers? - to the levels was NUTS. i didnt create much stuff on this one because it was too complicated for my little brain (and collecting all the different blocks all over again wouldve taken forever - and there werent many online levels to get cool shit from yet).
  • GTA V - this one came a bit later, but ill still count it as a childhood game.
  • Little Big Planet Karting - i got this one a little bit after it came out, ended up beating it sometime in 4th grade. the last level took a whiiiile for me to beat but i eventually beat it while playing it with my younger cousin, he came in CLUTCH, i woudln't have beat it without him. i didnt ever figure out how to create stuff much on this one because the creator layout was confusing and the lighting was kinda weird and sad... playing the game was fun, creating levels not so much lol.
  • Little Big Planet - while this is the first LBP game i played, it was actually the last one i owned. i first played it at my friends house, but i was really bad at it because i was scared of the little poisinous gas bits on the ghost level lol. the character customization was RIGHT up my alley though, so i eventually git my dad to buy me lbp 2. havent beat this one yet.
  • Sonic Unleashed - i had quite alot of fun with this one, one of my favprite things to do was to run around the italy lookin place at night and climb up on roofs, just trying to get to weird places i wasnt supposed to be lol. the invisible walls are pretty effective though so alot of time was spent just sittig there and enjoying the vibe lol. the italy town was quite beautiful tp me, and the music was so atmospheric and peaceful. alot of good memories with this one. i was replaying it recently, and the little sound clips of chip yelling "SONIC" in my ear every 20 seconds awakened ALL the memories from back then lol, nostalgia hit like a TRUCK. when i was a kid i got stuck on that one night level where you have to move the boxes onto the platforms and then raise them to get up to the ledge, i couldnt figure it out at ALL as a kid so i gave up for a while.
  • South Park: The Stick of Truth - when i was first playing the game (4th grade) i actually got stuck on the anal probe part because i couldnt click fast enough lol, so i stopped playing for a while (i think). i eventually got past it though, and had alot of fun with this one! around 8th (maybe 9th?) grade though i got softlocked while fighting fishguy whatshisname in Mr. Slaves asshole. i was pretty far in too, i was pissed lol. i should probably come back to this one, maybe i can get through it.
  • Skate 3 - i was never really into playing this one correctly, i would mostly just throw myself off the canyon as fast as i could to see how many bones i could break. i also liked to just ride around ontop of cars, try and run into people at full speed, find glitches (like the one where you can ride straight up the wall behind some house, go outta bounds, that sorta thing. this is a common theme with alot of the games i would play, i just wanted to explore the world, but theres always invisible walls because youre supposed to be actually playing the game lol.
  • Lair - i got this one because it had dragons on the cover, but never really got that far because 1) i was bad at flying and 2) you had to fight other dragons but they also werent as much the focus as i wouldve prefered. mostly though i just kept getting lost and bored lol.
  • Alice: Madness Returms - now THIS ONE was really cool and fun. i dont think i beat it, but i know i made alot of progress. its one of the few games that i actually played through normally because theres not much free-roam for this one. the visuals were so fuckig cool, this one really hold up and i do want to finish playing it. every level had something completely differnet from the last and it was always totally awesome. 10/10
  • Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction - now this one i though i lost, but i ended up just finding it in the games drawer while looking for all the games ive played lol. i had quite alot of fun on this one before i lost it, and i specifically remember i didnt know how saves worked when i was a kid, so i would create a new file every time i saved lmao. i ended up with at least 50 before my dad asked what the hell i was doing.
  • LEGO The Hobbit - now THIS is one of the games i actually played all the way through. i actually spent a while on this one trying to unlock all the characters, complete all the side quests, all that stuff. i dont think i fully unlocked everything 100%, but i had HELLA fun on this one. customizing the wolves was VERY fun, spent a long time just riding the wolves around. love this game.
  • Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed -
  • Rayman Origins -
  • Dark Souls 1 -

Nintendo DS (and later, DSI)

This was my first console! i actually chose it over the playstation at first because it was portable, so i could bring it to school and daycare and all that. eventually i actually lost my original ds at my grandmas house (with spyro shadow legacy, favorite game ever, still insde) and later got a new DSI. most of the pictures i remember seeing on it start at 4th grade, so i assume thats when i got it. Later, i did find my original ds, battery still charged! it was inside my grandpas recliner, like in the bottom bit where its all raw wood. found a hot wheels in there too iirc.

  • Spyro the Dragon: Shadow Legacy - this one was my all time favorite spyro game as a kid! i would spend forever just running around and looking at how cool spyro is ^^ when i was real young (2nd or 3rd grade maybe) i got stuck on the part where you had to open the game (i couldnt figure out the puzzle) so i would just hang out there and talk to the npc's over and over. i used to ship spyro with the pink dragon with the heart necklace or whatevr lol. eventually though i got past that, but then i think i got stuck at the part where youre in the desert maybe, or by the bear village. Now there is that secret boss in that castle thingy on the ice, i used to spend forever just trying to fly over to it over and over and over, eventually i managed to cross the gap, i think, and i mightve gotten softlocked? i remember being stuck tehre in one of my saves lol. anyways, i came back a few years later when i dound my ds again and managged to beat the game all the way! it was pretty cool :3
  • Animal Crossing: Wild World - THIS was one of my alltime favorites also... i remember going to all the little holidays and events in real time, tuning into KK sliders show every thursday, staying up until 12 to see the little fireworks go off, i really loved this game. some of my fav villagers were apollo and the little yellow bird... i think i got the goth kangaroo lady at some point, but i dont rememebr many specific villagers past that lol. i do remember bullying the yellow bird with pitfalls and shit though lol. ph and i got the gorilla dude and used to push him around until he got mad (wow i was kindof an asshole). i remember the day i was able to pay off my rent all the way, it was so awesome. i also remember being fucking TERRIFIED of lyle, that salesman otter guy. i would always run away from him before he could talk to me because i hated him. I actually traded another game with my friend to get this one
